Between San Vito Lo Capo and Scopello stretches the Zingaro Reserve for 7 km, an unspoilt area where nature is the protagonist.
The entrance fee is only 5€.
North entrance from San vito lo capo (Calampiso)
South entrance from Castellammare del golfo (Scopello)
Today, the reserve can be explored on foot through the five trails that run within it
and moving between the 7 wild coves where you can relax and bathe.
Along the routes there are museums that tell the story of San Vito Lo Capo and its surroundings: from tuna fishing to the art of weaving the giummara (dwarf palm).
Tonnarella dell’uzzo, cala torre dell’uzzo, cala marinella, cala beretta, cala della disa, cala del vare e cala capreria.
They can also be reached by boat, but we recommend the walking tour inside the reserve, an exhilarating experience.
The only refreshment points are at the relevant entrances; closed shoes and water are recommended to enjoy a fantastic day.
You can do the Zingaro nature reserve in a single day
prepared with courage and desire, especially in hot weather.
